Children’s homes
Residential care homes for children
At St Christopher’s we never see residential care as a last resort. Our block contract and spot purchase children’s homes provide valuable experiences for young people thanks to our staff’s expertise, bespoke attachment tools and a genuine, caring approach.
Young people have their say on decorating their bedrooms, deciding house rules and what’s on the menu each week. By empowering them to make decisions on issues that directly affect their lives, they feel more at home and positive about engaging with staff.
Our children’s care homes have between one and eight bed spaces for young people aged up to 18. We take both planned and emergency referrals, and also run a secure care home and specialist homes for girls at risk of exploitation.
''Children are all engaged in education and achieving high attendance levels. An established staff team works positively to help children address and reduce concerning behaviours.''
