St Christopher’s is a charity creating brighter futures for children and young people in care. As a leading provider of children's services, we always seek to develop our practice and find new ways of supporting young people.
-
All our services have the same goal: to support children and young people to fulfil their potential, grow into independent adults and have happy, successful futures.

There are many ways you can support St Christopher's work with children and young people. Find out how you can help young people reach their goals.
Fostering
Placing a child with a foster family
St Christopher’s have foster carers living across the West Midlands, Essex, Peterborough and London. We can provide solo placements, therapeutic placements and sibling placements. Our carers are passionate about providing the best standard of care to the children they look after.
Matching is something we take very seriously. From the moment we receive a referral we think about the support that each foster carer can offer, and start thinking about pieces of work we can do to make a difference to the young person right from the start.
Our learning from other work with young people means we have a wealth of knowledge available to support foster parents with whatever situation arises. Whether it’s advice from staff in our child sexual exploitation service or help with young people who go missing, our social workers can guide carers in the right direction to ensure the child is receiving the best care.
